I write in this blog partially because I’m a big fan of WordPress and I’ve consulted for organizations big and small on its design, deployment, maintenance, and effective usage. Using WordPress is (usually) to love WordPress, and maintaining this blog helps me to explore it further.
I write in this blog partially because I rage against my personal, light ADD. Facebook and Twitter, though useful, are perfectly designed towards a certain attention deficit-accommodating kind of communication — and I’ve never been comfortable with that. I believe in The Blog as an effective and personal (and hopefully personable) way to connect.
I write in this blog partially because I’ve been a worldbuilder since I was 17, and that particular interest lends towards an obsession with documenting, journaling, and illustration. Many aspects of my worldbuilding endeavors will be discussed here.
I write in this blog partially because I’m an Illustration student at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I’ve never been completely happy with online art portfolios (including Facebook’s and deviantART’s); luckily, the one that comes with the WordPress plugin Slim Jetpack isn’t bad! Hence, I discuss my art and techniques here as well.
If you have any questions or comments about anything I do, feel free to drop me a line.
